After successful editions in Vienna , Tokyo, Miami and Oxford , the International Art Fair is now launching in The Netherlands at the Amsterdam Beurs van Berlage where you can enjoy works from well-known and upcoming street artists.
The exhibition is of short duration. Additional work can be seen by the famous Banksy, recently in the news again with his project ‘Disma Land’. The work of the street art artist (also painter, political activist and director), about whose real identity is still disputed, among other things is accompanied by the work of the Iranian refugee Souren Mousavi. Her work as organizers Joëlle Dinnage and Natal Vallve overlap with the work of Frida Khalo and Salvador Dalí.
The Netherlands is represented by Loes van Delft . Van Delft’s work is described by the organization as ” a mix of cartoon, pop art and illustrations. “I’m the luckiest happiest idiot in this world. I feel so proud to participate in this amazing show. I don’t even have words for it. So proud.”, van Delft says.
Loes van Delft, the previous winner of the Global Art Award, was on the jury and presented the 2015 Award to the new winner.
